The artist is interested in subjects that carry a lot of meaning or are overloaded with it and therefore become exhausted and shallow. Imagery that speaks out a seaming emotion. This sort of imagery is interesting to the artist, not in it' s trival meaning, but more in how this superficial images can be reanimated. Sometimes by eliminating, neutralizing, amplifying or deepen their potential, until something unexpected evolves.
